Summer School 2011:
Abbotsford School District offers three summer learning opportunities:
Academic Secondary Summer School (Gr.9-12):
Upgrading in core subjects for students who fail a course (50 hours).
Completion courses for students wishing advanced credit (100 hours).
Seats in these courses are limited and are made available in May, first to students - including International students - registered in Abbotsford public schools.

Abbotsford Virtual School (AVS) (Gr.10-12)
Offers courses online during the summer semester for school-aged students and adults (19 or over) in core academic subjects grades 10-12.
Courses will be available for students wishing advanced credit in core academic courses in a blended environment of face-to-face and virtual instruction.(100 hours.)
Registration is open to all Abbotsford and non-Abbotsford students and adult students (19 years +). See the AVS website
Elementary Enhanced Summer Learning Program (Gr. 1-8)
Remedial support for school-aged children in Abbotsford currently enrolled in grades 1 to 8. These programs are for students who require extra help to meet learning outcomes in basic literacy and numeracy. Enrolment for these programs was conducted in schools by referral only, for qualified students. Thus, there is no open registration for these programs.

There is no tuition fee for these courses for students who are residents of British Columbia. There are tuition fees for International students.
